Big Trouble in the Outfield – Nightmares and Frustration – April thru July

Saturn Picking on Uranus and Neptune

April 8 through July 29, 2010

Get ready for little projects to become enormous, dreams to become restless, feelings of lethargy, and major mishaps. The three outer most planets (according to astronomy), Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are going to be at a major standoff upsetting most of our Spring and early Summer. These big giants move very slowly, and their aspects can often last from a few weeks to a few months.

The Odd Couple – Saturn Oppose Uranus

January 1st, 2010

Saturn aspecting UranusOctober 2008 to August 2010

Saturn and Uranus are like day and night when it comes to their zodiac personalities. Saturn is conservative and prefers the old tried and true ways, where Uranus loves to be original and sometimes even shocking. Put these two at an opposition, and we feel like we are being pulled in tug of war. If we try to lean toward the conservative, Saturn, side we will find ourselves nervous, edgy, and even bored. And if we try to lean towards the innovative and original, Uranus, Saturn will pull out “Murphy’s Law” and cause us to fail. I thought it would be interesting to take a look back in history, and see what happened during previous Saturn-Uranus oppositions to help determine what may be in store for us. Mercury Retrograde is Starting Early

August 31st, 2009

September 7 – September 29, 2009

Technically Mercury’s retrograde won’t begin until September 7th (retrograde station), but we will begin feeling the affects of this Mercury retrograde as early as August 20th. The reason for this is that Mercury slows down before he changes direction, and this time Mercury has picked a fight with Mars in the process. Read the rest of this entry »

The Eclipses are Coming – A Triple Wallop!

June 7th, 2009

eclipseJuly 7, July 21, and August 5, 2009

Eclipses bring changes, good and bad. Usually they come in pairs twice a year, but this summer we will have 3 eclipses: a lunar, a solar, and then another lunar. Most of us find changes difficult, even if they are positive. With all the changes we have been dealing with over the past year due to the collapse in the economy, I’m not sure any of us are really going to want to deal with any more. Well… like it or not, change is coming. Do we want to sit around and cry, or do we want to accept the challenges and grow into richer and more spiritually healthy human beings? Its our choice. Jupiter Conjunct Neptune – Idealistic and Gullible!

June 6th, 2009

Jupiter aspecting NeptuneMay 4 – Aug 4, 2009 and Dec 8, 2009 – Jan 2, 2010

Jupiter is the planet of good-luck, optimism, and expansion. Neptune is the ruler of dreams, the psychic, and creativity. Sometimes conjunctions can be stressful, and sometimes they can be positive. It all depends upon the situation and the people reacting to it.

Jupiter and Neptune are slow outer planets. Jupiter takes about 12 years to orbit the sun, and Neptune requires about 165 years to make one revolution. So, this aspect only occurs about every 13 years. Because these planets turn retrograde so often, some of their conjunctions lasted a very long time, and others only hung around a few weeks. I took a little stroll back in history to see what happened during previous Jupiter-Neptune conjunctions. Read the rest of this entry »
